Hello and welcome to Xanders web page. Heather and I will be typing a bunch of stuff in here to keep you posted of whats going on in the xanman's life.
Xander was born 05 Dec 05, he was born at Norton Suburban Hospital (AWESOME doctors there.) She had to have an emergency C section due to the fact that the nurses could not find his heartbeat. when they did manage to find it then the heartbeat would slowly fade away till you couldnt hear it. I was at work and it was about 4:20 in the morning and my mother in law calls me and tells me that heathers water just broke. i made the one hour trip in about 25 to 30 minutes.
when they took heather back to prep for the delivery they told me that i might not be able to be there with her. so there i am in the waiting area when they finally come get me and take me back to the delivery room. Heather was laying on the bed with a worried look but still as goregous as ever. I peeked over the little curtian there and saw them pulling out our little girl. they took the child over to the cleaning table and one of the nurses said the had a problem.
we got pretty nervous of course and then they proceeded to let us know we had a baby boy and not the girl that we were prepared for. The ultra sounds and all that told us it was gonna be a girl. We were gonna name her Teagan but we had a boy name ready just in case but we didnt have any boy clothes hehe, go figure right.
well Xander was born around 6:20 in the morning and weighed 6lbs 8ozs. Now im the first to admit that most babies are born ugly. (thats my view) but when i saw Xander he was perfect plain and simple. Heather and I are blessed with a great child.
we finally got to go home after 5 days in the hospital, let me say that the doctors and nurses and interns were simply the best ever. they took such good care of us that we almost didnt want to leave.
well Heather could not go up or down the stairs so we lived on the couch. we put every bit of padding around the couch that we could find. he would sleep on our chest or next to us (for all those micro seconds that he did sleep) to all those that have ever said i slept like a baby has obviously never had a baby. but its all worth it so no complaints. I have spoiled him much to the dislike of my wife but hey.
